Lee Baker
Lee Baker (1944-1996) was a Memphis Rock / Blues guitarist, singer, stylist and band leader of the 70's group Moloch who recorded for the Enterprise / Stax label. Moloch was the 1st group to record the Don Nix penned classic "Going Down." In the mid 70's Baker became the linchpin of the gonzo rock group, Mudboy and the Neutrons with his mates Jimmy Crosthwait, Jim Dickinson and Sid Selvidge. In the 80's he formed Lee Baker and the Agitators with Jimmy Seegerson, Joe Gaston and Richard Rosebrough. Throughout his career he was a side guitarist and cheif factotum for 1st generation bluesman Walter "Furry" Lewis.
